A Vanuatu based web site increases the legal reality of the trading company "doing business" from Vanuatu; especially if emails originate from there and the "home" site of the company is there. A useful combination might be to have a small, text based site in Vanuatu linked to a more graphic high-tech site in the US.

e-Business Fees

To avoid tax complications, you will need a "hands-off" arrangement with the offshore trading company and its website. To facilitate this, e-business will operate the company web site according to instructions from whoever is authorized under the articles of incorporation. You simply tell us what you want to do by email or fax and we do it. You can be as specific or as general as you want in your instructions. If you have web crafting abilities yourself, you could email a sample page or pages that you want posted and save us time and yourself money. You can also send files that you want people to be able to download from your site. Designing your Cyber-Suite

Recently I read a United Nations report that said it costs an average of US $100,000 to start up an e-business web site. That's probably true. But as a rule of thumb the more expensive and graphically complex the web site, the less functional it is in the real world of e-business. You can get started here for the cost of your offshore company (US$1995) plus a basic (5 page) US based e-business cybersuite with the company domain name (US$2850) for a total start-up cost of US$4,845. When you consider that this is the cost for getting a company and office in a tax-free international commerce environment, you will realize how ridiculously inexpensive this is. 

To obtain maximum efficiency, you will want to have a cybersuite set up specifically for your intended business activity. We charge a flat rate of US$625 per page to develop your CyberSuite according to our existing CyberSuite template. Designing a web-site from scratch costs US$985 per page. This includes your review and any revisions required to meet your approval.

If you opt for a U.S. cybersuite you can use lots of graphics, video clips, or animations providing they will really help your business activities. If you choose a Vanuatu site you'll be better off with a minimum of graphics because of the limited performance of the Vanuatu server.

Keeping it going

Your e-Business cybersuite will require updating and maintenance - just like a regular office. Your notice board will need changing, the bids console will need to be updated and refreshed. e-Business only charges you when it does something on your behalf. Which means that if you pay annually and don't make frequent changes to your web site, our fees are going to be very small. Our fees are inexpensive by industry standards. There is an annual e-Business International Trading Association membership fee of US$300 that covers a multitude of chores that are mutually beneficial to all members of the e-Business International Trading Association and includes the cost of processing your on-going server fees on behalf of your company. The server fees depend on the size, number of email accounts, and other features you want to have. See the server fee tables below for various rates. 

Management and changes to the web site are billed at US$150 per hour, with a minimum of US$50 per action. Making simple changes on existing pages of your web site, such as changing images, prices, refreshing and archiving notice boards and so on, normally costs only the minimum US$50. Adding new pages costs the standard US$985 per page (note that a "page" is more than the screen. This Fees page, for example, is one page even though you can scroll down and get lots of information from it. Pages are generally not more than about 4 typewritten sheets but can be much longer in special instances (such as the offshore company incorporation pages at http://mooresrowland.com/incorp.html ). 

Special Needs

We offer a personalized and user-friendly service. If you have special needs let us know and we will do our best to meet those needs. For example, if you want to send emails from your Vanuatu email address without having any buried links in the message showing where it actually originated, you can send the email (encrypted by PGP for added security) to us and we will resend it (still encoded and signed with your company's PGP signature) as a new message. Or you can send the message encoded to our PGP key and we can decode it and re-encode it with your corporate PGP key and reverse the process with any replies.

Financial Services 

There are a multitude of possible ways to handle financial transactions with your e-business. We work closely with Moores Rowland (Chartered Accountants) and have our own chartered accountant that can assist you with financial transactions. Discuss your confidential needs with us either by phone, fax, or PGP encrypted email. 

Costs of Hyperspace

If you want a domain name that reflects the name of your offshore company, (www.mycompany.com) the name must be registered and the fee for that is US$100 every two years. Internet address names are getting more and more difficult to get so you may have to play with the words a bit to get registered. For example, e-business Incorporated is ebusiness-incorporated.com because e-business.com was taken. You can find out if a particular name is already taken by going to www.networksolutions.com and conducting a name search in the US or to  www.idnames.com and conducting a world wide search for a name. Once you find a name, contact e-business immediately and we will register it for your company.

If your CyberSuite is in Vanuatu, you can register your company name as www.mycompany.com.vu or simply www.mycompany.vu.

It also costs money to have your web site and email addresses on a server. These charges must be paid for from your offshore company bank account. Payments will be made to e-Business Incorporated in advance on an annual basis and we will pay the fees for you and bill your company for any extra hosting charges should you exceed the allocated traffic. For e-business, where your web site is primarily used by your circle of trading partners and not the general public, even the minimum US budget site of US$24.95 per month should have plenty of traffic allowance. If you want to have a "store" on your site to do e-commerce with the public, you will need a web commerce plan at a minimum cost of US$79.95 a month.
