Exchange What's legal and what's not? What are the success stories of international e-business? One of the things that makes the Internet work is an open exchange of ideas and information. You are invited to contribute your thoughts, ideas, news items, and links. You can even send files for visitors to download. All of us who are interested and involved in international trade from tax havens will benefit from a mutual exchange of information. Keep an eye out for interesting web sites to link to, important news flashes or articles in journals. Email these to webright@e-business.vu for posting on this data exchange. Indicate on your email if you want to be credited and how the credit should read. Also include the URL or credits of the source of the material. No graphics, please, or copyrighted material. It is best to link to good sites rather than copy them. e-Business Incorporated is developing training modules to assist developing countries with getting their products on-line. We are always scanning the Internet for documents on legal and taxation issues relevant to international trading on the Internet. If you have found some important data that you would like to alert us to, please email the Internet address. Internet Links relevant to our mutual good fortune are also welcome. We welcome your input and ideas and will share them with others of like interests by making them available on the download section of this data exchange. If you have training materials that would be useful additions to this project, please email the relevant files. The best format for exchange of data is html (most word processors will save to html). Do not send exe files, and if sending a word document, please save in rich text format (*.rtf) and not *.doc because *.rtf files do not carry macro viruses. Zipped files are the best as they download faster. We will post any important news items that our members email to us relevant to their trading activities. Trading Companies have their own news pages for their trading partners but may wish to post news on the general e-business page to alert other potential buyers or traders of important developments. If you have any special news that you would like to add to the news section, please email it. Members in the e-business trade network have precedence for posting, but everyone with valuable news is welcome (this is not an invitation for spamming products or services, by the way). Links are valuable commodities, but they are free. The more links, the better. They help you find the services you need and in turn allow those services to find you. Please send links and we will put them on our links page - providing they have something to do with international trade. When you send your link, please indicate the URL, a brief name for your site, the exact text you want as a description of what your site offers, and your email address.
